Modern protects its customers from increased BT charges…again!
Hot on the heels of recent line rental increases, BT is now revising the way it rounds up the cost and duration of many calls, meaning its customers could be paying nearly twice as much for their calls!
Many BT customers will now find their calls rounded up to the nearest minute (currently rounded to the nearest 1 second) for charging purposes. This means that calls lasting between 1 and 60 seconds will be always be charged for the maximum 60 seconds. Calls lasting between 61 and 120 seconds will be charged for 120 seconds of call time, etc.

Coming so soon after this year’s earlier hike in line rental charges, these covert increases mean that BT customers will be paying even more than ever before. At Modern, we believe that BT isn’t treating its customers the way it should. That’s why we offer simple, straightforward and transparent tariffs with no hidden extras that also deliver substantial savings and enhanced service compared to BT.
As a Modern customer you are 100% protected from all these increases, and will always work with you to ensure you to maximise the value of your telecoms.
Modern are proud to introduce the first issue Newsletter, which talks about Convergence, IP DSL and more. We have also included a case study done on one of our top clients Field & Sons. Please click through to view.
