EU Data Roaming Cap – Important Information
From 1st July 2010, new EU legislation means data roaming will be capped at €50.00.
Our services are uncapped as majority of clients rely on continuous use whilst overseas. You now have the option to opt in to cap your data roaming charges.
By choosing this option, a data block will be placed on your mobile once exceeding a €50.00 monthly roaming limit. You can contact Modern at any time to have the bar lifted.
For instance, if you were to hit your €50.00 limit on the first of the month, you will be blocked for the remaining days of that month.
You will also be notified via text when you reach the 80% and 100% limit of the EU Data Roaming Cap.
If you wish to opt in to have this limit applied, please send an email to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address), specifying the mobile number or group of mobile numbers for which you wish to have this facility enabled.
If you do not opt in, then Modern cannot accept any responsibility for any high roaming charges incurred.
