Bruce Isaacs

Bruce’s career started in the early 80’s with Allied Lyons, converting pubs into Cafebar/Brasseries, and continued for the next 20 years with setting up and operating restaurants and bars.
This included being a founder director of Ed’s Easy Diner, the UK Director for Gioma Group, now Gaucho Grills, and owner and adviser on the set up of many leading food manufacturing and retail businesses including Yo! Sushi and Wagamama. Bruce became founder and Managing Director of Soup Works Plc and Commercial Director of the Bagel Factory.
Since then Bruce has worked on business finance and is currently working as an advisor to SME’s in the food, retail and service markets. Bruce became a non-executive director of Modern two years ago to help with the growth strategy of the company and broaden his commercial reach into Comms and IT.
